Drosera capensis, a trap with no escape
I wanted to capture this sequence to document the technique of "hunting" of Drosera capensis.
After the fly is stuck to the glue present on numerous tentacles, the leaf rolls up on its prey to make as many digestive glands are in contact with it.
Drosera capensis is a family of carnivorous plant native to South African Droseraceae. With its ease of cultivation has become one of the most common cultivated species of Drosera.
Even this small Drosera was transplanted mel my terrarium for 15 days seems to respond well to 'environment and artificial lights to LED!
