Clean nuclear energy? From iron, no nuclear waste!
Produce clean nuclear energy can be!
At least what is stated by the physicist Abruzzo Fabio Cardone who has experienced the production of nuclear energy, obtained by ultrasonic and mechanical compression of both liquid and solid ferrous materials.
This reaction piezonucleare controlled, it seems, produces neither waste nor harmful radiation and is made from a material common in nature as iron.

Further experiments of Professor Cardone and his team have shown that, by subjecting to ultrasonic treatment thorium 228, the radioactive material as waste produced from nuclear power plants, it loses half its radioactive charge in just 90 minutes duration of the experiment, which in nature would follow in two years.
Even in medical technology could have interesting applications in the treatment of tumors neutron.
Below is a video document of the intervention of Professor Fabio Cardone forum "Energy and the environment, sustainability of the system" held May 21, 2008 at 'D'Annunzio University of Chieti, Chieti on the initiative of the Lions Club' Host '.

Here's the final part of the Conference of Chieti 21/05/2008, speaks to Prof. Fabio Cardone:
"... We have presented these findings last year in a 500-page book published in Germany, entitled" Space and time warped. "Why! Because in fact we realized that these phenomena are possible if space and time around the nucleus of the atom changes as well as space and time changes around the sun.
It is well known since 1919 that the light curve of stars running around in the sun and this can be seen during the eclipses of the sun. This fact was attributed by the Einstein warping of space and time.
The space and time around the sun are not flat, well, if space and time around the nucleus are not flat then it is possible to invert the world, if you exceed the threshold that changes the space and time, as the mirror of Alice. In this new world iron free nuclear power, thorium loses its radioactivity, nothing dramatic, is the law of the lever of Archimedes, I just changed the point of support, I have not found another foothold.
The scientific community has been shocked of course, is still shocked, partly because the experiments are continuing in the United States of America, as it should be. Conversely, the Ansaldo does not waste time, succeeded in spending all that both the CNR 'army and is conducting, quite correctly, its measures to get to decide one thing: what you saw is an industrial prototype, is only a tool for scientific study, so what are the necessary steps to determine the size and characteristics of an industrial prototype that could lead to a pilot plant.
Well, this is a problem for the CNR, which has 3 patents recognized internationally for the removal of radioactive substances for the production of neutrons and for power generation or for the use of energy to change the substance.
In short gentlemen this is the property of the Italian State, though it may surprise you, and surprise, patents are owned by the CNR (Ministry of Education), the car is owned by the Italian Army (Defence Ministry)!
Gentlemen, good luck to Italy. "
Needless to say this discovery could have dramatic implications in a society that depends on fossil fuels.
And what is Italy?
Berlusconi wants to build 4 new nuclear power plants of the third generation in the Italian territory!
It would not be the case for investing in renewable energy and devote some resources to test and develop this new technology, rather than spending money on a dangerous and uneconomic nuclear power that Italians do NOT want (see the November 1987 referendum)?

Regarding the article "Clean energy from iron" I wonder why no indication of this authoritative scientific journals, such as our "Scientific American"?
